Your
yachting tour of the Mediterranean Coast to starts in Dalyan. The region that starts from
the Stream of Dalaman and extends to Antalya, is called the Lycian
Region. The Lycians, a tribe of seafarers much like the people of Karia, lived in this region in the year 2000 B.C. Many
very ancient cities
and monuments, which are accessible by yacht only, are remarkably well
preserved and secluded. You will visit the major cities of the Lycian
League at Kuanos, Letoon, Xanthos, Patara, Tlos, Myra. Fly into

Day 1
Board the Gundogan in
Gocek.
We will sail off to Ikincik, a small quiet
cove just north of Dalyan. We’ll spend the late afternoon at Dalyan Beach and enjoy a sunset cocktail. Dinner and
overnight at Ikincik. After
breakfast we will set sail for Ikincik, a small quiet cove just

Day 2
After breakfast Dalyan or ancient Kuanos is
your next port of call - and one of our favorite places! Dalyan
and Delikli Island lies right off the coast,
southeast of Ekincik. Yachtsmen enjoy a change of pace when they anchor
at the island and take a smaller craft excursion into the
Dalyan
Delta. The Delta, with a long, golden sandy beach at its mouth, is a nature-conservation area and a refuge for sea turtles (Caretta Caretta)
and blue crabs. At a bend in the river, high on the cliff face above,
you can see the fascinating ancient harbor city of
Kaunos,
with its magnificent Lycian tombs carved into the rock.
There are so many fascinating things to do here. You can explore the
ancient city of Kuanos, with it's interesting ruins, tombs and
incredible views form the top of the fortress. Look for turtles - Caretta
Caretta - the Mediterranean Loggerhead turtles - as you are boating
through the unique bamboo marshes of the river. Have a supurb lunch
of Blue Fin Crab or the local fish delicacy "Kefal" at one of the
many fish restaurants along the river. And don't miss the famous Thermal
Mud Baths, that have muddied the likes of Dustin Hoffman, Sting and many
other celebrities.

3
Cruise to Fethiye stopping
at quiet coves for swimming and snorkeling along the way. In
the city of Fethiye, ancient Telmessus, shopping,
nightclubs, restaurants and internet cafes abound! Of the ancient city
nothing remains except a number of rock tombs and sarcophagi. The rock
tombs cut into the cliffs that rise behind the town can be admired
clearly from the sea. To get to them you must climb up a lot of steps
clearly sign-posted from the town. Overnight in
Fethiye Marina.
Day
4
Depart
early in the morning for Butterfly Valley. This small cove offers
tremendous views and incredibly blue waters. You can swim, hike up to the waterfall
to see the butterflies, and take a more difficult climb up to Faralya Village and
have lunch at George's House. Cruise along to Oludeniz (Dead Sea)
and Gemiler. Enjoy a swim in the warn crystal clear waters. Ruins from a
Byzantine Church said to be of St. Nicholas are accessible from the
shore. Pack a cocktail and marvel at the spectacular sunsets from the
top of the island. Dinner and overnight anchored at Gemiler.
Day 5
We will slowly make our way south. stopping at quiet coves for swimming
and snorkeling along the way.
Cruise to the quintessential Mediterranean fishing village of Kalkan.
Narrow cobblestone streets wind up the hillside among simple houses,
shops, restaurants and some very lively discos. After an exquisite
dinner on the yacht, you can set out to explore this unique adventure.
Kalkan

quality and all who visit return year after year.

6
Spend the morning discovering Kalkan and its wonderfully friendly
residents or take a
mini bus (the
captain can arrange it) and visit the ancient cities of Letoon, Xanthos,
Patara, Spend the afternoon at Patara Beach. Back to the yacht and cruise to Kas, stopping at a quiet cove to swim. Dinner and overnight at Kas Harbor.
Day 7
Spend the morning discovering Kas - another quaint, Mediterranean fishing village.
Lycian tombs scattered through the cobblestone streets remind you of
just how old the city is. Winding streets flanked with huge star
jasmine, gardenia, bougainvillea, palms, figs and pomegranate trees wind
among simple houses, restaurants, Greek theater, shops are a few of the
attractions of this picturesque seaside town. Or take a mini bus to the Saklikent
Gorge where you can hike the Gorge, tube the River and have
a memorable lunch. Dinner and overnight at Kas Harbor.
Day 8
Marvel at the
sunken ruins of Kekova
and walk among the fallen stones of this one time member of the Lycian League.
This remote area is one of the most beautiful and
interesting places along the southwest coast of Turkey. Here we find a
Kale, small fishing village, crowned with a crusader castle which
commands a spectacular view
across the bay and up to the mountains. Hike up to the castle and the Lycian tombs. On the
way back, enjoy the incredible views and sunset from one of the small tea houses
along the winding footpath that descends from the Castle.

9
Departing Kale, we set off to Myra. On the way you can take a mini bus
tour (the captain can
arrange it) to the ancient city of Myra and the church of St. Nicolas
where he preached and was buried. Back to the boat and visit the
jungle-like ruins at Olympos (home of Hercules) one of the most dramatic
settings in Turkey. Dinner overnight in Finike.

10
Set out early for Olympus, one of the most
mystical and dramatic settings along the southern coast. A colorful
pebbled beach decorates these jungle-like ruins where it is said
Hercules was born. A full day is needed to enjoy the clear, warm waters
and to hike around the ruins. An optional excursion is available to Chimera, the place where the first
Olympic torch was lit from eternal flames that rise from the earth.

11

Phaselis was founded in the 7C BC by Rhodian colonists
and is currently a Turkish National Park. Three bays surround the peninsula, which makes Phaselis
particularly beautiful and a perfect setting for 18 holes of frisbee
golf! A well preserved
aqueduct, two Roman baths with substantial mosaics, 3 small agoras also
with mosaics, a colonnade 22 meters wide flanked by an acropolis and an
amphitheater where wild beasts challenged each other in a fight to the
death, and a large necropolis are just a few of our designated frisbee
holes. Dinner and overnight in Phaselis.
Day 13
Cruise towards Antalya,
stopping at quiet coves along the way. After lunch and swimming break we will continue to travel
Antalya. A bustling, prosperous city with fabulous restaurants, museums,
nightclubs, hotels and easy access to some of the worlds finest ancient
ruins, make Antalya a unique destination. Dinner and overnight at ancient Kaleici Marina.
Day 14
Disembark the Gundoğan on the 14th day. Fly out of
Antalya Airport.

These itineraries
have been designed to provide the best Blue Voyage possible. However,
the itineraries are flexible and can be adjusted for special requests
you may have or to allow for sudden weather conditions and crowds.
At certain times of the year, your captain may find it necessary
to move to an alternative mooring to avoid overly popular bays.
