A yachting tour of the Gulf of Gokova starts in
Bodrum. The Gulf
itself can provide you with enough sites and bays for a whole week or
even more. The translucent and deep waters of the Gulf on the southern
shore of the Bodrum Peninsula vary from the darkest blue to the palest
turquoise, and the coastline is thickly wooded with every hue of green.
In the evening, the sea reflects the mountains silhouetted against the
setting sun, while at night it shimmers with phosphorescence. |

Day 1
Board the Gundoğan in
Bodrum.
You will have the evening to explore the many shops and restaurants that
have made Bodrum one of the world's best vacation destinations. You may
choose to dine in Bodrum or have our chef prepare your meals on the
yacht. The exciting night life of Bodrum, with its countless bars and
stores open till midnight will surely provide your evening's entertainment.
Don't miss the Turkish Bath, Underwater Museum, St. John's Castle and the Windmills -
you can walk to it all.

Knidos, home of
Aphrodite |

Day 2
You
will depart early in the morning for Knidos, an ancient Carian city to
visit the remains of an amphitheater, acropolis and temple, which housed
the famous statue of Aphrodite. Knidos was founded by the Dorian Greeks
in the 7th century BC. Located on a windswept headland, the city had one
harbor on the Aegean and another on the Mediterranean and was
strategically located on shipping routes between Egypt, Rhodes, Ephesus,
the Greek homeland and other cities around the Mediterranean. Since the
winds change as you round the peninsula, ships were obliged to wait for
good winds before continuing their journey. A temple to Aphrodite was
built here, which contained a spectacular 4th century statue of the
goddess.

Day 3
After breakfast, we will enter the protected
Bay of Gokova in Mersincik, a bay is
surrounded by forests, you will travel
leisurely to Cati Lagoon for lunch. The afternoon is yours to visit the
beauties of this region. Dinner and overnight in Cati Lagoon.
Day 4
After breakfast cruise to a group of seven
islands, hence their Turkish name Yedi Adalar (Seven Islands). Lunch in
Seven Islands. Swimming, surfing and snorkeling in Kufre. Dinner and
overnight in Kufre.

Day 5
After breakfast cruise to Sedir
Island where it is told that Antonius brought golden sand on this beach
for Cleopatra. Popularly known as Cleopatra’s Island, this is the site of ancient Cedreae.
This island boasts an incredible beach with fine sand composed of
fossils and a magnificent view of the Kiran Mountains across the bay. It
is one of the most enjoyable sites to visit, the ruins of Cedreae whilst
of a modest size are overrun with shrubbery and olive trees set in the
gentle protected waters and offering a selection of breathtaking views.
Many a guide book suggests that you take your evening cocktail to the
theater at sunset to experience an atmosphere not found in many places,
not everyone takes the advice so don’t worry about it being too
crowded. You will anchor in Dinner and overnight in Sogut.

Day 6
After a quiet breakfast in Sogut, our Captain will follow
the Bay of Gekova through small inlets and coves where you can swim and
enjoy the crystal turquoise waters. Lunch in another quite cove and
anchor in English Harbor, the hidden bay where English WW
l British Torpedo Boats are said to have taken refuge. Dinner and overnight in English
Harbor.
Day 7
Breakfast
in Kerme Bay. Taking a swim in its crystal-clear waters is a special
delight. Lunch in Karaada famous for its
hot springs and known in ancient times as Arkanessos. Back to Bodrum.
Fly out of Bodrum Airport.

These itineraries
have been designed to provide the best Blue Voyage possible. However,
the itineraries are flexible and can be adjusted for special requests
you may have or to allow for sudden weather conditions and crowds.
At certain times of the year, your captain may find it necessary
to move to an alternative mooring to avoid overly popular bays.
