Olu Deniz
Dead Sea

Ölüdeniz, (Dead Sea) is the most popular beach in southern Turkey. It is a very sheltered lagoon not at all visible from the open sea. As all popular beaches, there are many water sport options. You can sea kayak, parasail behind a boat, banana boats, paddle boats and more. Your boat will be anchored away on the sidelines of the action, but a short swim or dingy ride will get you in the midst of it all.

This area is one of the best paragliding sites in the world. You will see paragliders from all over the world jumping off the 6,500 foot Babadag mountaintop to the sea. Tandem paragliding excursions are available for about $60 per person. I have done it and it is awesome. It is dangerous, people die every year (usually private individuals), so you should exercise caution. If you want to do it, we suggest Oludeniz Paragliding Center (252) 617-0175. They are located on the shoreline. You will have to call to make a reservation and it takes about 2-3 hours.
