Kofte
1 lb Ground Beef, Lamb or Combination
1 large Onion
2 Slices of Bread
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1 Egg
1 tsp Salt
1 Tbs Cumin
1 tsp Red Pepper

Grate Onions. Soak slices of bread in water and squeeze out excess water. Kneed all ingredients together. Make egg size pieces and shape into flattened ovals with wet hands. Either grill or fry in vegetable oil.
